Just call it off. The NHL season, that is.
That's the advice some Minnesota Wild players had last week for the NHL after league and players union negotiators emerged from three days of labor talks having made no progress toward ending the 4-month lockout.
"Yeah, it's time to cancel it," Wild forward Brian Rolston said. "If there was nothing that came out of these meetings, the league should call off the season and give season-ticket holders their money back."
